E-Waste Recycling

We accept e-waste for recycling, but we do not recycle in the traditional way. We need to approve items before accepting them. We prefer electronics from before the year 2000, though we are open to anything that meets our criteria. We typically do not accept phones.

Our Process

We attempt to repair and restore every item that comes in. Those that cannot be repaired are used as donor parts for other electronics. Only what remains after restoration and parts harvesting is turned over to other recycling facilities for proper disposal.

The items we accept are no longer manufactured. We believe they should be saved, not destroyed. Every effort is made to restore them, repair them, or use them to give new life to other machines.

Why We Are Selective

Because of this approach, we are selective about what we accept. If we do not believe an item can be repaired or used as a donor, we will decline it. Accepting everything would mean excessive trips to other recyclers for material we cannot use, which defeats the purpose of our process.
